Augusta inboxes split between kw.com and personal accounts

The single most common ending on an Augusta address is kw.com, on 160 rows. That beats gmail.com (103), yahoo.com (21), comcast.net (11) and bellsouth.net (4) combined.

Outside the Keller Williams inboxes, personal mail is common in Augusta: 148 rows, or 43%, sit on a free mailbox, above the 27% we see across Georgia. Just 10% are on a firm's own business domain.

Phone numbers come with 86% of the Augusta rows. 18 rows were new to our file in October 2026, and every address was last confirmed between Sep 16, 2026 and Oct 8, 2026.

Keller Williams and Executive Partners carry the Augusta roster

Keller Williams runs the biggest roster in Augusta, 182 agents, 56% of the branded roster we hold for Augusta-Richmond County, well above its 31% statewide and 19% in our US file.

Better Homes and Gardens is the second franchise, and all 73 of its Augusta agents come through one company, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Executive Partners. Its 22% share of the city's branded agents is more than double the 9% it holds in Georgia.

The smaller flags in town also map to single local owners: ERA Wilder Realty supplies all 25 ERA agents, and CENTURY 21 Jeff Keller Realty supplies all 21 Century 21 agents.

HomeSmart runs the other way. It holds 16% of Georgia's branded agents in our file but only 4 in Augusta.

The Augusta brokerage groups

2 company-and-town groups reach 50 or more agents with an Augusta address: Keller Williams (182) and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Executive Partners (73). Between them they hold 255 of the 326 Augusta agents.

Agents whose office sits across the line in Columbia County are filed under their own town, not Augusta: Evans (145 agents).

How the Augusta file is checked

Every address in the Augusta file was read on a public web page between Sep 16, 2026 and Oct 8, 2026, and a row is sold only when that page shows the email. 325 rows (95%) come from brokerage rosters and 17 are business addresses read on real estate firms' own websites, often an office or team inbox, counted apart from the agents.

A board from 1914 that reaches into South Carolina

The local MLS belongs to the REALTORS of Greater Augusta, a board also known by its older name, the Greater Augusta Association of REALTORS (GAAR). The association traces its history to 1914.

Its members work on both banks of the Savannah River. The association describes its area as Augusta plus Columbia, Aiken and Edgefield counties, and in 2024 it opened a North Augusta office for members on the South Carolina side.

Fort Gordon cyber jobs and the Savannah River Site

The post's name has changed twice in two years. It became Fort Eisenhower on October 27, 2023, and in June 2025 it went back to Fort Gordon, this time honoring Medal of Honor recipient Master Sgt. Gary I. Gordon (WRDW).

The Alliance for Fort Gordon, the local support group, says the post's workforce passed 34,000 in 2023, up from about 26,000 in 2016.

Masters week turns Augusta homes into rentals

Each April, homeowners rent out their houses to Masters visitors. The Masters Housing Bureau, run by the Augusta Metro Chamber, is the rental agency Augusta National Golf Club sanctions (The Augusta Press).

As of 2026, Section 280A(g) of the federal tax code lets a homeowner exclude from federal income the rent on a home rented 14 days or fewer in a year, a provision widely called the Augusta Rule.

In May 2023, The Augusta Press reported that Augusta commissioners were looking at drafting an ordinance to regulate short-term rentals after some had caused problems.
