New Mexico cities sold on their own

How the New Mexico file is checked

Every address in the New Mexico file was read on a public web page between Sep 16, 2026 and Oct 8, 2026, and a row is sold only when that page shows the email. 2,318 rows (90%) come from brokerage rosters and 258 are business addresses read on real estate firms' own websites, often an office or team inbox, counted apart from the agents.

NMAR and the Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Las Cruces associations

The National Association of REALTORS chartered the New Mexico Association of REALTORS in 1949, and the state association has roughly 7,000 member REALTORS, according to an Albuquerque Journal report of November 5, 2025.

The Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS (GAAR) was chartered in 1921 as the Real Estate Board of Albuquerque. Its site, read in October 2026, gives 4,300 members and says GAAR represents Central New Mexico, "which includes Bernalillo, Valencia, Sandoval, Torrance, parts of Socorro, and Santa Fe Counties."

The Santa Fe Association of REALTORS, established in 1948, put its membership at over 850 in a release dated October 7, 2026, across the greater Santa Fe region including Los Alamos and Rio Arriba counties. The Las Cruces Association of REALTORS was chartered in May 1949; its site, read in October 2026, says it represents approximately 800 REALTORS in Las Cruces and Doña Ana County, is the third largest association in New Mexico and runs the Southern New Mexico Multiple Listing Service.

Questions about the New Mexico file

Answered with this build's New Mexico numbers and the sources above.

Where is the price of a New Mexico home sale reported?
To the county assessor, on an affidavit. Section 7-38-12.1 of the state statutes, as printed on a Santa Fe County Assessor form read in October 2026, has a person presenting a deed or real estate contract for recording with a county clerk also file with the county assessor, within thirty days of that filing, an affidavit stating the full consideration paid or exchanged for the transfer, and the assessor retains the original as a confidential record.
Do New Mexico title companies set their own premiums?
No. Under the state rule 13.14.9 NMAC, read in October 2026, title insurance rates and charges are established by order of the superintendent of insurance, and no other rates or charges may be charged for title insurance or title services.
Can a New Mexico real estate broker hold more than one license?
Only a qualifying broker can. The Real Estate Commission FAQs, read in October 2026, say associate brokers can only hold one license, while qualifying brokers can hold multiple licenses at $270 for each.
Can I buy the Santa Fe or Las Cruces agents without Albuquerque?
Yes. Santa Fe and Las Cruces are each a separate city file, bought apart from Albuquerque's and from the statewide New Mexico file. Of the 2,576 New Mexico rows, 1,949 fall inside a city file; the statewide file also carries the other 627, which no city file holds.
