Franchise mail versus webmail in a Penn State town
Two franchise domains carry most of the State College mail rather than a webmail service: remax.net (45) and kw.com (30). The rest of the top five is gmail.com (29), yahoo.com (4), gsarealty.com (3).
A free mailbox is the address on 36 State College rows (28%), while 88% come with a phone number you can call alongside the email.
Our October 2026 pass found 20 rows that were new to our file. Each State College address was confirmed where it is published between Sep 16, 2026 and Oct 8, 2026.
Keller Williams and RE/MAX split the borough
Keller Williams (49 agents) and RE/MAX (45) between them hold 85% of the branded State College agents we carry. Across Pennsylvania the same two brands hold 23% and 13% of our branded agents.
RE/MAX alone is 41% of the borough's branded agents; in our US file its share is 10%.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices runs the other way. It holds 23% of our branded Pennsylvania agents but only 5 with a State College address (5%).
Better Homes and Gardens is the local outlier: 10 agents here, 9% of the borough's branded total, against 1% for the state.
Filtering by domain alone undercounts Keller Williams in State College: kw.com appears on 30 rows, fewer than the 49 agents who carry the brand.
