How Cottonwood Heights agents publish their email

Few CENTURY 21 Everest agents here publish a c21everest.com address. That domain shows up on just 7 rows, while gmail.com covers 208.

The Keller Williams agents go the other way: kw.com is on 120 rows, set against 145 Keller Williams agents in the city.

Counting every Cottonwood Heights row, free mailboxes take 235, a brokerage's own domain takes 50, and the other 120 sit mostly on franchise addresses like kw.com.

Domains in our rows: gmail.com (208), kw.com (120), yahoo.com (8), c21everest.com (7), hotmail.com (6).

Next to the 403 agents, 2 rows are business addresses read on real estate firms' own websites. New to our file in October 2026: 3 rows.

A Century 21 town in a state Real Brokerage leads

On Cottonwood Heights office addresses, the Century 21 name covers 60% of everyone under a franchise banner. Statewide that slice shrinks to 11%, and Real Brokerage sits on top of the Utah file instead.

Every one of those 243 Century 21 agents works for a single franchise, CENTURY 21 Everest.

Next comes Keller Williams, whose 145 people on the city's office addresses make a 36% slice, beside 16% for Utah overall.

Real Brokerage reverses the pattern. It leads Utah with 18% of branded agents, yet only 16 of its agents list a Cottonwood Heights office.

Two franchise groups carry the Cottonwood Heights list

Counting only groups of 50 or more agents under one company and town, CENTURY 21 Everest (243) and Keller Williams (145) together cover 388 of the 403 Cottonwood Heights agents.

The remaining 15 agents belong to smaller firms, the largest being Real Broker.

By agent count, Cottonwood Heights is number 3 among Utah city files, behind St. George and Park City.

Desks just down the valley in Salt Lake City (369) and Midvale (171) and Sandy (137) belong to files named for those places, and the Utah file carries them too.

Fort Union and Wasatch Boulevard, the canyon gateway

Cottonwood Heights became a city on January 14, 2005, carved out of unincorporated Salt Lake County. The city calls itself the City between the Canyons, and its website describes Fort Union Boulevard as the gateway to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and their resorts.

Canyon traffic planning reaches into the city itself. On May 13, 2026 the Utah Department of Transportation announced its decision on the Big Cottonwood Canyon study, which includes a 1,750-stall parking structure and mobility hub near the canyon mouth and a grade-separated intersection on Wasatch Boulevard, with transit service possible as early as 2028 (UDOT).

Salt Lake County numbers from the largest MLS shareholder

Salt Lake County's REALTOR association is the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS, which says it was founded in 1917 and is the largest shareholder of UtahRealEstate.com, the listing service run by Wasatch Front Regional MLS (slrealtors.com).

The board's latest quarterly figures are countywide, not for Cottonwood Heights alone.

In its mid-year affordability report, released in late August 2026, the board put the household income needed to buy that $645,000 county median at $186,827 a year.

Basement apartments and nightly rentals under city code

The City Council passed its accessory dwelling unit ordinance on September 21, 2021. Under that ordinance, an ADU may not serve as a short-term rental; for any other home the city requires a conditional use permit plus a business license before one opens, and approved locations are limited mainly to multi-family areas inside private condominium or homeowners' associations (city of Cottonwood Heights).

The city lists a $350 application fee for that permit and a $170 fee for the short-term rental business license.

Questions about the Cottonwood Heights file

Answered with this build's Cottonwood Heights numbers and the sources above.

Which listing service do Cottonwood Heights agents use for homes near the canyons?
Most list on UtahRealEstate.com, the Wasatch Front Regional MLS service in which the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS holds the largest stake.
Can Cottonwood Heights homeowners list a basement ADU on Airbnb?
No. City code bars renting an accessory dwelling unit as a short-term rental, and nightly rental permits are confined mostly to condo and HOA areas.
Does CENTURY 21 Everest dominate the Cottonwood Heights agent file?
Yes. CENTURY 21 Everest accounts for 243 of the 403 names on Cottonwood Heights office addresses, a bigger roster than any other firm on those addresses.
Will a campaign to Cottonwood Heights agents land in Gmail or in brokerage inboxes?
Gmail is the larger share: 208 rows use gmail.com, 120 use kw.com and only 7 use c21everest.com.
Are agents in neighboring Midvale included in the Cottonwood Heights list?
No. Midvale's 171 people sit in a Midvale file, this list stops at the Cottonwood Heights city line, and the Utah file carries both.
