Agent Lookup for Google Sheets

A free add-on for anyone who keeps contacts in a spreadsheet and works with real estate agents: loan officers, title and escrow reps, inspectors, stagers, sign shops, brokerage recruiters.

Agent Lookup marks which email addresses in your sheet belong to US real estate agents. For each match it adds the agent's brokerage, city and state, where we found them (a brokerage roster or a state license register) and the month we last saw them there.

Use it

• Open your sheet, then Extensions → US Realtor List: Agent Lookup → Check emails.
• Pick the column with the email addresses (the add-on guesses it from the header row).
• Click Check emails. Six columns appear to the right: Agent?, Brokerage, City, State, Found on, Listed as of.

Try it with the demo record

Put jane.demo@usrealtorlist.com in a cell under an "Email" header. It is a fictional record, not a real person: it comes back as Demo Realty, Austin, TX, marked "Demo record".

How matching works, and what we keep

The add-on hashes each address inside your sheet with Google's own SHA-256 and sends only the first 8 bytes of that code, with a Google sign-in token that tells us which account is asking (for the daily limit). No email address leaves Google. We keep a count of rows checked per scrambled account id for two days, and daily totals. Full detail: privacy policy, Agent Lookup section.

Permissions it asks for

• View and manage the spreadsheet this add-on runs in: to read the column you pick and write the new columns. Only the sheet it is opened in, never your other files.
• Display content in Google apps: the sidebar.
• Connect to an external service: the lookup at verify.usrealtorlist.com.
• Your Google account's id (sign-in): for the daily limit per account.

Limits worth knowing

• 250 rows a day per Google account.
• A match is not a license check.
• US agents only.

Questions

Is it free?
Yes, for up to 250 rows a day per Google account. There are no plans or charges.

Does my list leave Google?
No email address does. Each address is scrambled (hashed with SHA-256) inside your sheet, and only the first part of that code is sent to us to look up. We never receive the address itself.

Do you keep anything?
A count of how many rows each Google account checked today, stored under a scrambled account id and deleted after two days, plus daily totals. Never an address, a sheet or your Google profile.

Will it change what is already in my sheet?
No. It inserts six new columns to the right of the email column and writes only there.

Does it check real estate licenses?
No. A match means the address appears on a US brokerage roster or state license register we hold, with the month we last saw it. It is not a live license lookup.

Why does an agent I know say "Not found"?
We only hold addresses that agents or their brokerages publish. A personal address an agent never listed will not match.

What does "Not checked (daily limit)" mean?
You reached the 250 rows for today. Run it again tomorrow for the rest.
