compass.com, kw.com or gmail.com: Louisiana mail domains by brand

gmail.com leads the domains of the Louisiana rows with 1,293 addresses; compass.com (1,055) and kw.com (928) rank second and third. Free mailboxes, gmail.com and yahoo.com among them, account for 33% of the addresses, and 93% of the rows carry a phone number.

The domains differ by brand. All 1,054 Compass agents write from compass.com. kw.com is the address of most Keller Williams agents, remax.net of most RE/MAX agents and exprealty.com of most eXp Realty agents. More than half of the Century 21 and Real Brokerage agents use gmail.com (348 of 491 and 226 of 308).

Our walks in October 2026 found 407 Louisiana rows we had not seen before. That makes them additions to this list, not proof of recently licensed agents.

Keller Williams first in Louisiana, Compass over three times its weight in our US file

With 1,138 Louisiana agents, 23% of the branded rows here, Keller Williams comes first, and Compass is second with 1,054. Compass's 22% of those rows is more than three times its 7% of our US file, where it ranks sixth among the brands by agent count.

Compass's biggest towns in the file are New Orleans (305), Lafayette (157) and Baton Rouge (155). Our Compass rows all give Compass itself as the company. Its New Orleans group, 305 of the 648 rows in the New Orleans file, is bigger than any other company-and-town group in Louisiana. Keller Williams has its largest towns in Lafayette (189), Metairie (181) and Mandeville (135), and 90 agents in New Orleans.

Coldwell Banker TEC, on 135 rows, is the largest Coldwell Banker company in the file, and West Monroe is the town with the most Coldwell Banker agents. Lafayette holds 106 of Real Brokerage's 308 Louisiana agents, against 19 in Youngsville, its next town. RE/MAX has 6% of the branded Louisiana rows, against 10% across our US file.

Agents are people. "Business" counts the addresses read on real estate firms' own websites, often an office or team inbox; a city file holds both.

How the Louisiana file is checked

Every address in the Louisiana file was read on a public web page between Sep 16, 2026 and Oct 8, 2026, and a row is sold only when that page shows the email. 4,840 rows (92%) come from brokerage rosters and 398 are business addresses read on real estate firms' own websites, often an office or team inbox, counted apart from the agents.

Bounce guarantee: email the list within 30 days. For every address that hard-bounces, send us the bounce report and we refund that row's share of what you paid. The rules

A Louisiana license: 90 hours, a sponsoring broker, E&O cover

The Louisiana Real Estate Commission's pages, read in October 2026, set 90 hours of pre-licensing education for a salesperson and 150 for a broker. Post-license education is a one-time 45-hour requirement that requires passing an exam on the course content; individuals who move their license to inactive status within 180 days of initial licensure need not complete it until they transfer to active status. Salespersons and associate brokers must have a sponsoring broker and carry current errors and omissions insurance.

In 2025 the commission received 2,473 initial license applications and issued 1,672 licenses: 1,326 to salespersons, 171 to brokers and 175 to brokerages, by its report of January 27, 2026 to the House and Senate commerce committees (lrec.gov report).

The commission's list of mandatory forms, read in October 2026, includes the 2026 Louisiana Residential Agreement to Buy or Sell and the 2026 Property Disclosure, effective January 1, 2026 by its notice of November 3, 2025, along with the Disclosure and Consent to Dual Agency and a Wholesaling Residential Real Property Mandatory Cancellation Notice.

Ten Louisiana boards and ROAM's plan for one statewide Flex MLS

Louisiana REALTORS, the state association in Baton Rouge, lists ten local boards on its website, read in October 2026. They are based in Metairie (New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS), Baton Rouge (Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS), Lafayette (REALTOR Association of Acadiana), Shreveport (Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS), Lake Charles (Southwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS), Covington (Northshore Area Board of REALTORS), Houma (Bayou Board of REALTORS), Monroe (Northeast REALTORS of Louisiana), Alexandria (Greater Central LA REALTORS Association) and Rosepine (Greater Fort Polk Area REALTORS). Eight of those ten towns have a city file of their own here; Alexandria and Rosepine do not.

The About page of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS (NOMAR), read in October 2026, says the association was founded in 1915 and that it serves approximately 6,400 real estate professionals through the association and the MLS, with members from all ten parishes of the metro New Orleans area.

The same page calls NOMAR a founding member of ROAM MLS and describes ROAM as the largest multiple listing service in Louisiana, with over 12,000 REALTOR members in 32 Louisiana parishes. ROAM's homepage, read the same month, calls it Louisiana's Consolidated MLS, formed by the aggregation of several existing MLSs in the state, and lists the NOMAR/GSREIN (New Orleans), Greater Central Louisiana, Greater Baton Rouge and Bayou boards. In an announcement dated January 21, 2026, ROAM's board of managers said it had decided to unify ROAM's operations on a single new statewide instance of the Flex MLS platform for all its users, with launch targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026 (roammls.org).

Louisiana closings up 4.5% through August 2026

The Louisiana REALTORS Monthly Indicators for August 2026, with data from MLSs in the state, show a statewide median sales price of $254,000, 1.6% above the $250,000 of August 2025. Pending sales gained 2.7% to reach 3,681, while new listings slipped 3.7% to 5,032. The inventory count was 17,137, down 3.9%; days on market fell 4.2% to 69, and the report puts supply at 4.9 months (Louisiana REALTORS).

Closed sales for January through August 2026 reached 28,561, against 27,324 in the same eight months of 2025, a rise of 4.5%.

The association's annual report for 2025 has single-family home prices down 0.7% and townhouse and condo prices up 21.8%. The year ended with 17,623 active listings, against 17,581 at the end of 2024.

Questions about the Louisiana file

Answered with this build's Louisiana numbers and the sources above.

How many people and firms does the Louisiana Real Estate Commission license or regulate, and how many Louisiana agents are in this file?
24,390 as of January 27, 2026, one combined figure for the salespersons, brokers, brokerages, timeshare developers, instructors, schools and education vendors the commission licenses or regulates, with no split by type. This file holds 5,238 Louisiana rows that a public web page publishes, 398 of them business addresses and the other 4,840 agents; our walks last confirmed them at those pages, the earliest on Sep 16, 2026 and the latest on Oct 8, 2026, and the file does not include every licensee.
What can a notary do in a Louisiana real estate deal?
Acts of sale, mortgages and real estate transfers are on the Louisiana Notary Association's list of what a Louisiana notary can do, and its undated guide, read in October 2026, calls that notary a civil law notary with broad powers usually reserved for attorneys in other states.
How many Louisiana home sales closed in 2025?
40,266, which is 2.8% more than in 2024, with the median sales price 1.4% higher at $247,000, according to the Louisiana REALTORS annual report for 2025, whose data come from MLSs in the state. The same report counts 56,191 closed sales in 2021.
Can I buy New Orleans, Lafayette or Baton Rouge agents without the rest of Louisiana?
Yes. New Orleans, Lafayette and Baton Rouge each have a city file sold apart from the statewide file, and 18 Louisiana cities are sold that way in all. Rows from places without a file of their own, led by Kenner (45) and Harvey (45), belong to the statewide file, outside every city file.
