By office city, the Missouri file is led by St. Louis (1,303), Kansas City (671), Chesterfield (538) and Springfield (515). Those four make up 42% of the Missouri rows naming an office city, 3,027 addresses in all.

How the Missouri file is checked

Every address in the Missouri file was read on a public web page between Sep 16, 2026 and Oct 8, 2026, and a row is sold only when that page shows the email. 6,938 rows (92%) come from brokerage rosters and 589 are business addresses read on real estate firms' own websites, often an office or team inbox, counted apart from the agents.

From 72 course hours to a Missouri broker license

RealEstateU, a licensing school, says in a guide updated September 14, 2026 that a Missouri salesperson completes 72 hours of approved pre-licensing education, a 48-hour Salesperson Pre-Examination Course and a 24-hour Missouri Real Estate Practice Course, and must work under a licensed broker at all times (realestateu.com).

Kaplan, another school, says on its Missouri requirements page, read in October 2026, that the 48-hour course must be completed before the 24-hour one. For a broker license, both schools list at least 24 months as an active salesperson within the preceding 30 months and a 48-hour Broker Pre-Examination Course.

In our Missouri rows, 197 profiles give the job title Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and 309 give Sales Associate.

Missouri REALTORS in Columbia, MARIS in St. Louis

Missouri REALTORS was founded on February 13, 1936 as the Missouri Real Estate Association and moved to Columbia in 1957. It was the Missouri Association of REALTORS from 1975 to 2013, when its present name came into use. As of October 2026 its site lists 34 local REALTOR boards and associations, and its staff page calls it the largest trade association in the state.

MARIS, or Mid-America Regional Information Systems, is headquartered in St. Louis. In an August 2026 release, it put its reach at more than 15,000 subscribers across more than 130 counties in Missouri and Illinois and said it is owned by 14 shareholder REALTOR associations; the same release announced a two-way data share with First Multiple Listing Service (FMLS), which serves agents across Georgia (marismls.com).

The association's May 2026 market report covers existing single-family homes only, with figures from 12 MLSs. Besides MARIS, they include Heartland MLS, the Southern Missouri MLS and the MLSs of the Columbia, Jefferson City and Lake of the Ozarks boards.

Missouri home sales from 2025 into August 2026

Missouri REALTORS counted 74,184 homes sold across the state in 2025, with total volume above $24 billion. The year's median sale price was $279,900, 7.7% higher than in 2024 (Missouri REALTORS, February 3, 2026).

Its May 2026 report, with data current as of June 22, showed 29,469 closed sales from January through May, up 6.5% on the first five months of 2025. The median for those months was $279,900, 5.6% above a year earlier. Active listings grew in each month from February (12,000) to May (14,590). In May alone, 7,223 homes sold at a $299,900 median, 7.1% above May 2025, and days on market stood at 41.

For August 2026, the Jefferson City News Tribune, quoting the association's figures, reported 6,720 homes sold, $2.4 billion in total volume, a $299,900 median selling price and 42 days on the market on average.

Questions about the Missouri file

Answered with this build's Missouri numbers and the sources above.

Are Missouri home sale prices public record?
The Beacon reported on February 7, 2025 that Missouri is one of 12 nondisclosure states, where a sale price is known only to the buyer, the seller or an agent with access to an MLS database, with Jackson County, St. Louis County and the city of St. Louis as exceptions that require a certificate of value.
What form must a Missouri licensee give a seller, landlord, buyer or tenant with no brokerage relationship?
The Broker Disclosure Form prescribed by the Missouri Real Estate Commission: rule 20 CSR 2250-8.097, as read in October 2026, says that in a residential real estate transaction the licensee shall provide it at the earliest practicable opportunity during or following the first substantial contact, and in any event upon obtaining any personal or financial information or before the signing of a brokerage service agreement, whichever occurs first.
How many members does Missouri REALTORS have?
Over 25,000, by the association's own figure on its home page in October 2026. This Missouri file counts something else: 6,938 agents and 589 business addresses, each an email we found published on a brokerage or business website, as of Oct 8, 2026.
Can I buy only the St. Louis or Kansas City agents?
Yes. St. Louis and Kansas City are two of the 27 Missouri city files sold on their own, and the 27 together hold 5,729 of the state file's 7,527 rows.
Do Missouri agents use company email or free mail like Gmail?
Mostly business domains, though it depends on the brand. Counting each brand's own Missouri rows: Keller Williams, kw.com on 1,532 of its 1,801; RE/MAX, remax.net on 1,137 of its 1,153; Compass, compass.com on all 272. Among Real Brokerage agents (207 of 409) and Century 21 agents (194 of 462), gmail.com is the most common domain.
